John Shipe Project.. Live at PublicHouse during Seafood Fest 22!

“This is the album of my life. I may not make another one because I may not have anything left in me. My experience in recovery—both as an alcoholic and an artist—brought me to places of brutal honesty, and it has been exhausting,” says John Shipe.

His latest is a fiercely poetic and fearlessly vulnerable double album aptly titled, The Beast Is Back, out October 2nd. The diverse collection brims with songs that course through all streams of Americana, including stately piano ballads, swampy blues, intimate folk, haunting country, and sprightly classic country.

As always, shows are ALL AGES and no cover charge.

Holy Smokes! Curators of old-school country and finely crafted original song writing, Holy Smokes are true troubadours of the new left-coast western americana renaissance.  The 'Smokes' sing songs about heartaches and heart attacks in gorgeous three-part harmonies backed by hot country guitars, smoking fiddle, boot shaking stand-up bass and drums, and spaced-out saw and pedal steel. Their creative songwriting will make you belly laugh one moment and cry like baby the next.

Band is made up of Midwest native, Ky Burt (Singer/Songwriter, Acoustic and Electric Guitar, Harmonica, Banjo), Sarah Holtschlag (Singer/Songwriter, Acoustic Guitar, Saw), Jessilyn Brinkerhoff (Singer, Fiddle), Matt Keenan (Singer, Bass), Bryan Daste (pedal steel)
